Under the supervision of the owner the RV Park Managers responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the SASQUATCH FARM RV PARK You'll be on-call 24 hours/day and will oversee everything from administrative activities to property maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
Operational
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operation of the business unit; Ensures all operations are adequately staffed, stocked, and open for business during business hours.
Ensures proper inventory operations; Controls costs and minimizes waste, performs inventory counts and runs inventory reports.
Identifies and works with management to resolve departmental problems and potential problems.
Financial
Responsibilities:
Assists with ensuring the profitability of all operations and the smooth and efficient operation of all departments; Ensures each operation complies with financial guidelines and meets or exceeds all financial and operational goals.
Ensures all accounting and security procedures are followed; Submits AP/AR, Payroll, and Transaction reports as required.
Recommends and implements strategies to maximize revenues and control costs.
Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer service and maintaining high customer satisfaction scores; Measures quality of customer service through customer surveys and comment cards and makes suggestions on customer service improvement strategies.
Responds to customer complaints in a professional manner.
Safety & Compliance
Responsibilities:
Knows and enforces all company Programs and policies; Responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance to all Environmental, Health, Compliance, and Safety Management Programs and policies.
Responsible for ensuring compliance to all local, state and Federal regulations concerning all facilities, operations and activities.
Responsible for proper safety procedures and facilitation of all risk management programs to promote proper staff health, safety and welfare.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Ensures all team members are properly oriented and adequately trained in department standards, security procedures, department operations, and safe work methods.
Mentors and coaches staff members on developing and improving skills.
Enforces department standards, policies, and team member expectations; Performs progressive discipline, coaches, and retrains department employees as required.
Follows and enforces company policies including uniform and grooming standards.
Verifies payroll hours and resolves payroll issues for department personal as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

Knowledge & understanding of inventory control and product costs relationships.
Understanding of fundamental accounting concepts.
Excellent customer service, guest relations and conflict management skills to resolve employee and guest problems and concerns calmly and effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to work and have courteous and professional behavior in a fast-paced, high-traffic, high stress environment with constant interruptions and changing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, negotiation, planning and organizational skills.
Good computer skills including Excel, Word, and POS.
A valid Driver's License is Required.
Read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Must be able to understand normal conversation and accurately communicate information.
Ability to stand and walk on paved, unpaved, uneven, and sometimes slippery surfaces for extended periods of time.
Ability to climb stairs occasionally.
Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and squat, repetitively.
Ability to grasp, finger, twist, turn, and reach down, forward, and overhead frequently.
Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time.
Ability to operate a computer.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily.
Able to visually inspect departments for compliance.
The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions:
Adverse conditions may include extreme heat and/or cold, wind, humidity, and sometimes inclement weather.
Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Bachelor's Degree in hospitality management or related field and 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality.
Prior supervisory or management work experience required.
Strong background in the Lodging Industry.
